An online store for flooring and doors, built on OpenCart

The task
ELDOM sells flooring, interior and entrance doors, facade thermal panels and decorative coatings. Products like these are chosen by section, brand and texture rather than from a single product page, so the store needed a catalogue that gets a buyer to the right door or laminate in two or three clicks — and a storefront the owner could fill without a developer.
What we did
We built the store on OpenCart: at the time that gave us a catalogue, a cart and checkout without writing them from scratch, and gave the owner an admin panel they already knew.
- A catalogue of six sections: flooring, professional laminate underlay, interior doors, entrance doors, facade thermal panels, and paints and decorative coatings.
- A separate brand storefront — ELSi, Kronotex, Kronostar, Solid, Zadoor, Arbiton — so a buyer who came for one manufacturer lands straight in its range.
- Search scoped by section, a cart and checkout in tenge, and pages for payment and delivery, partnership and directions.
- Promo banners and catalogue content are managed from the admin panel, with no developer involved.
The result
The store is running: the owner manages products, sections and promotions, and orders are placed online rather than over the phone. It predates the rest of the work in this section and runs on a different stack — this is our e-commerce experience from before the move to Next.js.
