Next.js + Strapi for an artist: portfolio, print shop and Schema.org on every artwork

Yeldos Aman is an art director, graphic designer and painter with 13 years of practice. He needed a working tool, not a business card: a portfolio of graphic design and painting, sketches, exhibitions, a shop for his work — all of it maintained by him, without a developer. And the original artworks could not go onto the internet at full size.

We separated the site from its content: Next.js renders the pages, Strapi on its own domain holds the works, texts and products, and the artist manages everything through a familiar admin.

• A first-party image proxy: originals stay closed, pages receive WebP at 4–99 KB — fast, with no risk of full-size files leaking.
• A shop with Schema.org Product markup — price, currency, availability — on every item; VisualArtwork on every work, Person and WebSite on the home page.
• Server-side rendering and stale-while-revalidate caching: content is visible without JavaScript, and the server answers in tens of milliseconds.
• Locale infrastructure in place — a second language can be switched on without a rebuild.

Lighthouse on desktop 97, SEO 100, zero layout shift. The server responds in under 50 ms. All 29 pages in the sitemap, redirects and OG cards in place. The artist publishes works and products himself.
